Is it Summer yet?

An April Fool's Day snow day? I pretty much knew it was coming, but still. Devin is loving it. He got to play a video game this morning, and he's been running around the house in his underwear, shooting at me and the cats with Nerf guns! Makes me miss the days when he was little and had a nap every afternoon. My cat, Pepe, is hiding out with me in my craft room, under my chair. He is staring at the door for any signs of Devin. The tell-tale hiss will alert me that the Nerf Kid is near!

I'll get right to song of the day. Today it is "Volcano Girls" by the band Veruca Salt, from their 1997 album "Eight Arms to Hold You". This is a great rock tune, sung my frontwomen Nina Gordon and Louise Post. Nina Gordon left Veruca Salt in 2000, but I understand they still tour and record with a new lineup.

gotta run for now, I hear the Nerf battle cry coming from the living room, and I must take cover!
