Okay, I said I wasn't going to get up early and watch the Royal wedding this morning, and I didn't. However, when I did wake up at 7:00 a.m., I made the mistake of turning on the Today show. "Just to get a quick peek at the wedding gown.", I told myself, as William and Kate made their way down the aisle, arm-in-arm, as husband and wife, "then I will turn the channel". Before I knew it, I was misty-eyed and sucked-in to the extravaganza before me. I found myself remembering Charles and Diana's wedding 30 years ago, and feeling a bit sad that Diana could not be here to watch her elder son marry a woman that she would have undoubtedly loved. I couldn't help watching the highlights of the wedding, watching Kate Middleton go from commoner to Princess and enjoying the fairy tale aspect of it all. I'm still not a fanatical Royal watcher, but for half an hour or so, I sure did enjoy the spectacle. Now, I am back to my normal, who-cares-about-the-Royals self! I wish them well, but I have other, more important things to focus on.

Like, song of the day! We all know how very important that is, now don't we? LOL! How about, in honor of today's festivities, we pick "White Wedding" by Billy Idol? I know, the lyrics don't really pertain to Will and Kate, but who cares? It's a great song! Oh, and it can be found on this classic Billy Idol album:or, it can be found on this 12" vinyl single (which I used to have): So, go on, tease your hair up as high as you can get it, put on some neon green and get your 80's on!!!

On that note, I have to get back to reality and make my family some dinner. They have this weird habit of eating dinner EVERY SINGLE NIGHT! Can you believe them? Take care!
